Student Team First Blog

I've started a blog for the student team basically because we're a "Student Team" and we need to be hip! Actually the real reason is so that we have central place for disseminating information to each other. The idea being that if someone gets accidental left of an e-mail or looses a bit of paper then everyone knows where to find the information they need.

Some things to note about the blog...

1. At the bottom of the page you will find a calendar which has all the SLOBS and Down-to-Earth dates. It will also tell you what we are studying at SLOBS and Down-to-Earth. You can scroll through the months using the navigation buttons, clicking on event will provide you with more information. At the right of the blog there is a list of up and coming events.
2. To the right you will get a history of what has been posted so you should be able to find a previous post if it gets archived.
3. If you know what a Atom feed is then you can find what you need at the bottom of the blog posts.
4. If you ever want to comment on a post or ask a question then you can do so by clicking on the word "comment" at the bottom of the post. It would be good if folk could use this but no worries if not an e-mail to me will be fine.
5. This blog is public for now so if you want to pass on sensitive information then it's best to e-mail me.
6. For those of you that are into PDAs I think you can sync your PDA with the calender I've created by doing something with the ical link found to the right of this post...I don't have a PDA so not sure if this actually works.
